Rizal Technological University (RTU) celebrated the holiday season with a fun party for the children of its faculty and employees on December 18, 2024. Titled “A Magical Christmas,” the event transformed the RTU Penthouse into a whimsical wonderland, delighting children and their families with an inflatable playground, fun games, and face painting activities.

The University President, Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco, graced the occasion with her presence, bringing added joy to the attendees. In her remarks, she emphasized the importance of fostering a spirit of community and celebration during the holiday season. She also expressed her appreciation to the organizers of the program.

The event was a joint project of the Alliance of Faculty Clubs, Inc. (AFCI), led by its President Dr. Hiene Roy C. Barcelona, and the Association of Administrative Personnel (ASAP), headed by its President Mr. Arnel G. Jaming. Members of both organizations worked collaboratively to ensure the success of the program.

Facilitating the activities were the dedicated student leaders of the Supreme Student Council, under the leadership of Student Regent Mr. Joshua Verzo. Their commitment to service brought smiles to the young attendees, who arrived dressed as their favorite fictional characters and superheroes, adding a magical flair to the celebration.

The event was a testament to RTU’s commitment to fostering camaraderie and creating meaningful moments for its community. It was an unforgettable day of fun, laughter, and the true spirit of Christmas for the RTU Kids and family.
