Pandayang Rizalia starts the second quarter of the year with an academic and scientific bang through the conduct of the 14th Research Colloquium and the 25th Research Forum. From April 2 to 4, the Research Development and Innovation Office, under the headship of Dr. Ryan Manuel D. Guido, organized a hybrid-style colloquium and forum to evaluate almost a hundred research proposals and over 30 completed research papers by the faculty of different colleges and institutes under the university.

Held at three locations in the R&D Building of the Mandaluyong Main Campus, the faculty researchers presented various research proposals and papers in 11 different fields of knowledge, including Business and Economics, Education and Learning, Sustainability and Community Development, Sciences, STI Foresight, Technology and Innovation, Policy Studies, Social Sciences, and Science and Technology. These fields of knowledge exemplify Rizal Technological University’s range in the pursuit of scientific knowledge.

Various distinguished experts in research development were enlisted to sit in the different panels of evaluators, namely Dr. Jackie D. Urrutia, Dr. Rizaldy E. Garcia, Dr. Marie Paz Morales, Dr. Ruby Ann Dela Cruz, Dr. Faith Micah D. Abenes-Balbin,  Dr. Ruth S. Guzman, Dr. Lynn M. Besa, Dr. Ira C. Valenzuela, Dr. Adonis P. David, and Dr. Glen R. Mangali. Through the expertise of these evaluators, the quality of the proposals and papers was reviewed and scrutinized.

It is a priority of RTU to contribute to the pursuit of scientific knowledge through quality research. By conducting activities such as this, the university enables its faculty members to contribute to their respective fields and enrich their knowledge through research. Pandayang Rizalia looks forward to the success of these papers and a year filled with fruitful research.
