RTU Formalized Partnership with Four Prominent Taiwan Acad Institutions

 

Rizal Technological University (RTU) once again took a significant step towards global collaboration in education by establishing a partnership with four prominent universities from Taiwan, namely Mingshin University of Science and Technology (MUST), Taiwan Steel University of Science and Technology (TSUST), Cheng Shiu University of Science and Technology (CSUST), National Formosa University (NFU).

The forging of these partnerships marks a milestone in RTU’s commitment to enhancing its academic offerings and fostering international cooperation. Held on March 28, 2024, the event marked a momentous occasion for the institutions and opening doors to a myriad of opportunities for academic and cultural exchange.

The agreement was sealed during a formal ceremony attended by key representatives from the institutions. In particular, Mr. Donato Z. Estocada, Director of the RTU International Affairs and Linkages Office, played an important role in facilitating the partnership. Dr. Kristine Y. Opulencia, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA), also contributed to the negotiations, underscoring the university’s dedication to academic excellence and global engagement.


The partnership between RTU and the four Taiwan universities opens up new avenues for collaborative research, faculty and student exchange programs, joint academic initiatives, and the sharing of best practices.
