Rizal Technological University (RTU) has taken another significant step in expanding its global academic footprint by officially forging a partnership with CCN University of Science and Technology (CCN-UST) in Bangladesh. The collaboration marks a milestone in RTU’s internationalization efforts and underscores its commitment to cross-border academic excellence, research, and cultural exchange.
Representing RTU in the partnership was Mr. Donato Z. Estocada, Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office. Leading the counterpart from CCN-UST was Dr. Monir Hossen, a key academic leader in the university’s international outreach initiatives.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed between the two institutions paves the way for collaborative ventures in faculty and student exchange, joint research projects,and academic resource sharing. The agreement also reflects a shared vision of fostering innovation and strengthening global education networks.
“This partnership reflects RTU’s ongoing commitment to building meaningful global linkages that enrich the academic experience of our students and faculty,” Mr. Estocada said during the signing ceremony. “We look forward to working closely with CCN University of Science and Technology in achieving shared goals in research, innovation, and educational development.”
Dr. Monir Hossen expressed equal enthusiasm, stating, “This collaboration represents a strategic step toward international cooperation that will benefit both institutions. We are excited to begin this journey with RTU and explore opportunities that will elevate academic quality and mutual understanding between our countries.”
The partnership is expected to commence with planning sessions for academic exchanges and collaborative online programs set to begin in the upcoming academic year.
