The RTU Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office of Rizal Technological University, under the leadership of Instr. Emmanuel Taruc, attended the Stakeholders’ Meeting organized by the Mandaluyong Disaster Risk Management Center (MDRRMC) in partnership with the Office of Civil Defense. Instr. Arvie Casas, Head of Plans and Operations, together with Instr. John Rhol Inting, Education and Advocacy Head, represented RTU in the said event. The meeting was held at the MG Tower, Shaw Blvd., Mandaluyong City, on Wednesday, November 29.

MCDRRM Head, Mr. Roald R. Arcangel, led the meeting by sharing valuable insights, which sparked enthusiasm for fortifying disaster preparedness. Different private and public sectors were well represented at the Stakeholders’ Meeting.

The meeting served as a platform for exchanging insights, strategies, and collaborative initiatives between DRRM units and their counterparts. The gathering aimed to strengthen coordination among stakeholders, share best practices, and explore innovative approaches to enhance disaster response and management within the city.
