Rizal Technological University (RTU) officials met with the delegation of Universitas Halu Oleo (UHO) of Indonesia on September 2, 2025, to discuss plans for strengthening international academic cooperation between the two universities.
The gathering, held at the College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy (CBEA) Dean’s Office and facilitated by Dr. Rome Sherriff G. Montoya, Dean of CBEA, was attended by various CBEA Department Heads; Instr. Jennieca Bacungan, CBEA Associate Dean, and Asst. Prof. John Eric Estrellado, Director of the Research, Development, and Innovation Office.
The meeting discussed potential areas of collaboration, such as joint research initiatives, faculty development programs, and exchange programs for both faculty and students. Both parties pledged that they were keen on establishing strong academic and cultural connections that would contribute to the development of their respective communities.
This initiative demonstrates Pandayang Rizalia’s proactive efforts to expand its international partnerships and offer students and faculty significant opportunities. Through enhancing its relationship with UHO, RTU solidifies its position as a vision-driven institution that encourages innovation and global collaboration.
