RTU and PSUCCESS, Inc. Convene for 2026 TechRevEd National Conference Planning

A successful collaboration was solidified as Rizal Technological University (RTU) and the Philippine Schools, Universities, and Colleges Computer Education and Systems Society (PSUCCESS), Inc. committee convened at the OP Conference Room to plan the upcoming 2026 Technological Revolution in Education (TechRevEd) Annual National Conference (ANC), scheduled for February 18-20, 2026, at Bulwagang Balagtas, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). The conference will center on the theme “Artificial Intelligence for Transformative Education, Industry Innovation, and Public Sector Governance.”

The meeting was presided over by Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco. RTU President and PSUCCESS Board Member, alongside PSUCCESS President and Board Member, Dr. Carmela S. Perez.

They were joined by committee members from RTU, including Dr. Elmer C. Pascual, RTU National Service Training Program Office (NSTPO) Director, Asst. Prof. Samuel A. Balbin, Associate Dean of RTU College of Education (CEd), Mr. John Peter De Leon, RTU Staff, and PSUCCESS Board Member. Also present were representatives from One Cainta College (OCC) and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), namely Dr. Victoria C. Naval, OIC-College Administrator of OCC; Mr. Christopher W. De Veyra, OCC College Registrar, Assoc. Prof. Carlo G. Inovero, Chief of PUP Risk Opportunities and Management Section and PSUCCESS Vice President-Internal, and Asst. Prof. Monina D. Barreto, PSUCCESS Secretary and Board Member.

The discussions centered on comprehensive conference preparations to ensure a seamless experience for the targeted participants. Key logistical details were finalized, including upcoming venue ocular visits to Bulwagang Balagtas. A primary highlight of the meeting was the emphasis on academic elevation, specifically the pursuit of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Philippine Journal of Science (PJS) to publish a special issue dedicated to research submitted to PSUCCESS.

The committee also addressed vital budgetary and operational updates while prioritizing the development of the next generation of professionals through the PSUCCESS Junior program. This initiative targets approximately 200 student participants, and all participating schools are asked to designate a faculty adviser to support their delegates.
