The Association of Faculty Club Inc. (AFCI) of Rizal Technological University (RTU) hosted a successful two-day strategic planning seminar, bringing together faculty leaders to discuss vital strategies and the organization’s Constitution and Bylaws. Held at Loreland Farm Resort in Antipolo City, the event aimed to foster collaboration, set long-term goals, and enhance faculty governance for the coming years.
Headed by Dr. Hiene Roy C. Barcelona, AFCI President, the two-day planning featured Atty. Bernabe L. Figueroa, President of the Confederation of Faculty Associations of State Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (CFASCUP) as the keynote speaker, covering topics crucial to AFCI’s organizational growth. Also, there was an in-depth exploration of the AFCI Constitution and Bylaws, aimed at strengthening the organization’s legal framework and guiding principles.
The RTU AFCI strategic planning seminar concluded with a renewed commitment to advancing the welfare of RTU’s faculty and enhancing the quality of education provided to students. This initiative underscores the university’s dedication to fostering a vibrant, well-governed academic community shaped by leaders and educators.
