Rizal Technological University (RTU) proudly participated in the prestigious De La Salle University Research Congress 2025, held from June 26 to 28, 2025 at DLSU Manila. This annual academic gathering brought together scholars, educators, and students from various institutions to promote research excellence and cross-university collaboration.
Representing RTU were students from the College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy, BS Office Administration Program namely; Billie Solano, Faye Pampula, Niña Pineda, Jophet Sencida, with Dr. Jayvie O. Guballo, who delivered an insightful research presentation titled “Managers’ Decision-Making Styles Among Fine Dining Restaurants in Mandaluyong City”. Their study contributed to the growing body of knowledge in business and management research, particularly in the context of managerial behavior and decision-making in the food and hospitality sector. Another Rizaliano, Josephine Zafra, also in collaboration with Dr. Guballo, presented their research titled “Green Human Resource Management Practices and Employee Engagement in Information Technology-Enabled Services Companies in Makati City”.
Both research papers were presented during the parallel sessions on-site at The Verdure, Fourth Floor, Henry Sy Sr. Hall, De La Salle University, and were well received by attendees, including fellow researchers and faculty members from various academic institutions.
The RTU delegates’ participation in this event features the university’s commitment to nurturing a research-driven culture and strengthening its presence in national academic forums. Guided by their faculty mentors and fueled by academic rigor, these young researchers exemplified the values of excellence and innovation that define the Rizaliano spirit.
The final day of the congress, held online via Zoom on June 28, featured more paper presentations and networking opportunities, allowing RTU students to engage with other researchers in a dynamic virtual environment.
