Rizaliano Edukistas from Rizal Technological University’s (RTU) College of Education (CEd) and Institute of Human Kinetics (IHK) rose up to the challenge and exhibited their knowledge on teacher education last April 21, 2025 in the Institutional Level of the National Teacher Education Quiz Bee 2025, organized by the University Review and Related Instruction Office (URRIO) headed by its Director, Dr. Rizaldy E. Garcia, in partnership with Carl Balita Review Center (CBRC).

The participating 3rd and 4th-year pre-service teachers gave their all in the battle of mental prowess, until the rise of the champion, Francis Allen Antonio, a Social Sciences major, followed by the first and second runners up, Renz Albo, a Filipino major student, and Nessly Anne C. Paja, a Science major student, respectively. These three prides of the RTU-Edukista community who exemplified the university’s teacher education quality received generous prizes from CBRC, including full and partial scholarships for the CBRC BLEPT review and CBRC review books.

Antonio, who dominated the quiz bee, is now set to compete on May 15-16 as the official representative of RTU for the National Round of the competition. The university expresses its utmost esteem for his success and representation of the Rizaliano community.
