RDC-NCR Technical Budget Consultation Highlights RTU’s Fiscal Roadmap for 2025

February 15, 2024- at the New MMDA Head Office Building in Pasig City, the Regional Development Council – National Capital Region’s (RDC-NCR) Technical Budget Consultation for Fiscal Year 2025 was held under the sponsorships of the Social Development Committee. The annual consultation, a cornerstone of RDC-NCR activities, ensures the harmonization of proposed programs and projects from regional line agencies, including State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).

Dr. Rodolfo L. Ducut, Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA), presented Rizal Technological University’s comprehensive Budget Proposal for the upcoming fiscal year. Dr. Ducut, serving as the university’s officer-in-charge during the consultation, outlined RTU’s strategic financial roadmap, emphasizing alignment with regional and national development objectives.

Joining the delegation from RTU were key officers, including Assoc. Prof. Ela D. Aragon, Director of the Planning Office; Mr. Arnel Jaming, OIC-Director of the Budget and Management Office; Mr. Rowell C. Marasigan, Chief Administrative Officer for Finance; and Engr. Nino Augusto Curpos, Director of the Project Management Office. Their collective presence underscored RTU’s commitment to actively contribute to the region’s development agenda through prudent fiscal planning and execution.

As the RDC-NCR continues to steer the course towards regional progress, the collaborative efforts of institutions like RTU are crucial in shaping a resilient and forward-looking fiscal landscape.
