On March 25, 2026, Leap Geebee Education recognized Rizal Technological University (RTU) for its contributions to international education and cultural exchange during the Illustrados Gala and Appreciation Night, held at the Marriott Hotel.

The University and Leap Geebee are longstanding partners in international education initiatives for Rizalianos, continuously fostering a strong culture of collaboration and innovation towards their shared goal.

RTU received a Certificate of Appreciation in acknowledgment of its active participation and support in fostering global academic partnerships. Representing the university at the prestigious event was Assoc. Prof. Donato Z. Estocada, Director of the International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO).

The gala brought together key education stakeholders to celebrate institutions and partners that have strengthened international linkages and student opportunities.

Adding pride and vibrancy to the evening, RTU showcased Filipino talent and culture through performances by its cultural groups: Himig Rizalia, Tunog Rondalla Rizalia, and Kultura Rizalia. Their performances highlighted the richness of Philippine heritage, captivating the audience and reinforcing the university’s commitment to cultural diplomacy.
