On April 22, 2026, Rizal Technological University’s (RTU) International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO), in partnership with Zhangzhou City Vocational College (ZCVC), created a dynamic virtual environment that encouraged learning, interaction, and cultural appreciation through an online discussion on the Cultural Tourism and Landscapes of Zhangzhou, gathering a diverse group of RTU students and employees in bridging learning and culture.
The program provided participants with valuable insights into Zhangzhou’s rich history, vibrant traditions, and breathtaking landscapes. Through an engaging presentation, attendees were introduced to the city’s unique tourism offerings and cultural identity, highlighting the significance of preserving heritage while promoting sustainable tourism. Taking full advantage of the online modality, the session fostered an immersive experience that bridged geographical boundaries and brought cultures closer together.
More than just an academic activity, the event served as a platform for meaningful dialogue and the exchange of ideas. Participants were able to reflect on cultural similarities and differences, broadening their perspectives and deepening their understanding of global diversity. The collaboration also reinforced the importance of international partnerships in education, opening doors for future programs and exchanges between institutions.
The successful initiative stands as a testament to RTU’s commitment to internationalization and its continuous efforts to provide opportunities that enrich learning beyond the classroom. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to building stronger global connections, inspiring lifelong learning, and embracing the diversity that unites us all.
