Rizal Technological University’s Department of Psychology extensionists gained recognition in the recently concluded National Research and Extension Advocacy Conference for Change (NREACCH) 2023, with the theme “Redesigning Opportunities in Advancing Research and Development and Extension for the iGeneration,” held at the University of Rizal System Tanay, Rizal, November 15–17.

Asst. Prof. Christian Paul Pagal, Psychology Department Head, received the Best in Oral Presentation award under the Extension Category: Social Equity/GAD/Poverty Alleviation. The extensionists, through their sustainable partnership with DSWD’s Ina Healing Center, consistently provide psychological services—specifically, assessment, psychoeducation, and individual and group counseling—to grieving individuals across Metro Manila.
