The Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) recently conducted a benchmarking and cooperation meeting at the International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO) of Rizal Technological University (RTU), strengthening ties between the two institutions and paving the way for future collaborations.
Asst. Prof. Carlo Dantes De Dios, Director of the International Affairs Office, led the PSAU delegation. , while the RTU team was headed by Assoc. Prof. Donato Z. Estocada, Director of IALO. The meeting, led by the two, served as a platform for exchanging best practices, institutional strategies, and innovative approaches to internationalization and academic partnerships.
During the benchmarking activity, both institutions engaged in meaningful discussions on enhancing their global engagement initiatives. Key areas explored included research collaborations, local mobility programs, and joint partnerships to organize conferences and academic events.
Assoc. Prof. Estocada emphasized that the activity was mutually beneficial, highlighting that while PSAU gained insights from RTU’s internationalization efforts, RTU also benefited from the opportunity to expand its network and explore collaborative ventures with PSAU.
“This engagement is not only about sharing best practices but also about building sustainable partnerships that will benefit both institutions and their respective communities,” he noted.
The initiative marks a significant step toward strengthening inter-university cooperation, fostering innovation, and promoting academic excellence by sharing resources and expertise.
Through this collaborative effort, RTU and PSAU reaffirm their commitment to advancing education, research, and global engagement, ultimately contributing to sustainable and inclusive development.
