Rizal Technological University (RTU), through its International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO), continues to strengthen its global engagement initiatives as it welcomed Mr. Junaid Maqbool, Program Lead from the Corporate and Continuing Education Team of the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Canada, for a strategic cooperation meeting.
The visit aimed to explore potential areas of collaboration that support innovative and inclusive education, including Transnational Education, Collaborative Online International Learning, faculty exchange, capacity building, and short-term skills-based programs.
Assoc. Prof. Donato Z. Estocada, Director of IALO, warmly welcomed Mr. Maqbool and led the discussions on aligning institutional priorities and identifying pathways for sustainable academic partnerships.
The engagement highlighted RTU’s commitment to expanding access to global learning opportunities and enhancing the competencies of both students and faculty through international cooperation. These initiatives are expected to contribute to workforce readiness, lifelong learning, and the development of globally competitive graduates.
