Rizal Technological University (RTU), through the International Affairs and Linkages Office (IALO) under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Donato Z. Estocada hosted the Fulbright Information Session titled “Global Opportunities Await: Start Your Fulbright Journey” on November 19, 2025, at the SNAGAH Penthouse. The event aimed to introduce RTU students to international academic and cultural exchange opportunities offered by Fulbright Philippines, encouraging more young Filipinos to participate in programs that support global education, leadership development, and intercultural engagement.

Representatives from Fulbright Philippines, Program Officers Ms. Katrina Florece and Ms. Lovely Serrano, led a comprehensive information session discussing program opportunities, application procedures, eligibility guidelines, requirements, and frequently asked questions. They also shared insights into the Fulbright experience and the Fulbright Program’s long-standing mission to strengthen international understanding through academic exchange.

The event was attended by students, including representatives from various student councils, who were encouraged to explore the possibility of becoming Fulbright scholars. By participating, students gained valuable knowledge on how they can become future global leaders and ambassadors of academic excellence through Fulbright Philippines.
