The program seeks to strengthen character formation, decision-making, and mental wellness, complementing RTU’s thrust for holistic education and international cooperation.
The collaboration is expected to benefit multiple sectors of the University. For CASU, the program will serve as a valuable component of the Counseling and Assessment Week in line with the observance of the World Mental Health Week. OSAAS will likewise integrate the program to expand its student development and support services. Meanwhile, the NSTPO recognized its alignment with the promotion of volunteerism under the Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) and the leadership values required in the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC).
Additionally, the programs will also be extended to the RTU Supreme Student Council (SSC), College and Institute Student Councils, and Academic Organizations as part of their leadership training initiatives, equipping student leaders with the mindset, values, and resilience needed to serve and lead effectively within the academic community.
Through the partnership with IYF, RTU reaffirms its commitment to strengthening student welfare, academic excellence, and global collaboration. The integration of the Mind Education Program reflects the University’s mission of nurturing competent, resilient, and globally minded individuals prepared to contribute meaningfully to both national development and the global community.
