RTU Officials join 12th Passage to ASEAN Partners’ Meeting and 7th Annual General Meeting in Vietnam

Rizal Technological University President Dr. Ma. Eugenia M. Yangco, together with Dr. Magno M. Quendangan, Executive Vice President, Dr. Krisitine Y. Opulencia, VP for Academic Affairs  & Director of the University Center for International Linkages and External Affairs (UCILEA), and Instr. Donato Estocada, Head, UCILEA-International Assistance Unit, visited Duy Tan University, Da Nang, Vietnam last November 16-18, 2023 to participate in the 7th Passage to ASEAN (P2A) Annual General Meeting 2023.

 

Delegates from distinguished Philippine Higher Education Institutions and State Universities convened in this event, signifying a momentous achievement for the higher education system of the Philippines. Prominent attendees included representatives from Rizal Technological University, Davao del Sur State College, St. Vincent’s College, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng San Pablo, Liceo de Cagayan University, National College of Science and Technology, Mapúa Malayan Colleges, and University of Perpetual Help System DALTA-Calamba Campus.

 

The gathering functioned as a vibrant stage for these universities to cultivate collaborations and fortify diverse domains, encompassing reciprocal research initiatives, staff and faculty exchange programs, and more. By utilizing shared resources and expertise, the conference sought to enhance the quality of education as a whole and foster greater collaboration among academic institutions. With the convergence of these establishments in their quest for shared objectives, it is expected that the alliance established throughout the Passage to ASEAN summit will influence the trajectory of education by cultivating worldwide comprehension and distinction.

 

The gathering presented fresh growth opportunities as well as many exchange events amongst students from ASEAN universities. The summit then offered a big venue for ASEAN nations to share experiences, and at the same time learn and collaborate on all research initiatives.
