GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS AND STAKEHOLDERS ENTERING THE PREMISES OF THE RIZAL TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY BONI CAMPUS FOR ONSITE TRANSACTIONS

Physical Design and Health Guidelines

A. Physical Design for Specific offices: SRAC, Accounting office, MIC, and Cashier.

  1. Signage and markings should be available and visible in all places in the University to observe safe spacing and locations of offices. Provide safety distancing guides, such as tape, paint, or chalk on floors or sidewalks and signs on walls, to ensure that staff and students remain at least 1 meter apart in lines, hallways, sanitation facilities (toilets), and at other times
  2. Erect physical barriers between workstations/areas when possible and appropriate.
  3. Position the seats/desks with space of at least one (1) meter apart. Provide physical cues such as tape or chalk to guide spacing.
  4. Marked seats will be provided to all students and visitors. Marshals and Civic Security members monitor and will provide cueing of the allowed number of people or batches to transact to for every office.
  5. Establish one-way foot traffic hallways. Marshals and Civil Security will monitor the hallway and the facility ensuring the health protocols like physical distancing guidelines are followed.
  6. Associated offices shall take participation in the planning and scheduling of student transactions on the said offices. Proper communication and coordination with other offices and the management shall be observed and implemented.

B. Health and Safety

  1. Students, visitors, and employees should be fully vaccinated for Covid-19.
  2. The MDSC, or its representative health officer, shall be in charge of the implementation of health protocols which will be assisted by the DRRMO, Civil Security, PPDO office. All must take part in the implementation as we are part of the Institution.
  3. Students, visitors, and employees are REQUIRED to adhere to the school’s Health Declaration Form thru the ONLINE LINK QR CODE every time and before coming into the campus, observe paperless transactions as much as possible. Be transparent in declaring health conditions including family members. By doing this correctly, we can have a good case detection method that prevents the risk of cross-contamination. They should not have any symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat, diarrhea, and colds when they enter the campus.
  4. All must observe the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g. face shield, face mask, alcohol). Social distance of 1.5 meters while inside the school premises and this may increase if it prejudices the safety protocols.
  5. For emergency response for suspected, probable, and confirmed cases the MDSC may implement medical management or procedure under their close monitoring and will be coordinated to DRRMO. The MDSC will advise the client on how to reintegrate back to the campus under their guidelines.
  6. Employees and student congregations and small group gatherings are not encouraged along with the school premises. Marshals and or Civil Security members must interfere to maintain the essence of social distancing.

C. Occupancy Capacity and Health and Safety Measures

  1. One-way traffic will be implemented. There will be exclusive entry and exit gates.
  2. Upon entering the gate, there will be a mandatory check of temperature and filling of health declaration form via online or thru hard copy.
  3. Employees must go directly to their designated areas or workplace.
  4. Students will have their holding area. Seats within the holding area should be one (1) meter apart. A marshal shall guide the students to their specific room following the foot traffic.
  5. Students and visitors are required to bring their hygiene kits which contain 70% Ethyl Alcohol or hand sanitizer, soap, wipes, tissue papers, etc.
  6. Students and faculty/employees must observe proper waste disposal according to type.
  7. Students and visitors shall leave the campus immediately after their transaction. Observe designated gates for egress only.
  8. The DRRMO will implement chemical disinfection at the end of the day for the common areas through floor mopping and or sprayer. Offices may request disinfection inside their workplace, if they require, for health precautionary measures.
