To our dearest graduates, parents, alumni and students,
In light of what transpired during the CAS and CEIT graduation ceremony last June 14, 2019 at PICC, where our dear graduates together with their parents experienced a total let down from what was supposed to be an event to celebrate academic victories, please accept our sincerest apologies for the incident which was inconsiderate and negligent. There are no exact reasons for what happened. It was never the intention of the university to cause pain and misery to the graduates and to the members of their families. We know how hard you and your families worked to get into that stage and mark one of the most important dates of your life yet we unsuccessfully provided you the bests of what you deserved despite all the preparations and planning we had.
We also understand that blames were casted to the organizers but please be assured that the administration is doing its very best to investigate further what happened and shall not rest until proper actions are taken.
You are the lifeblood of the university, and though we admit that this blow has besmirched our quest for excellence, we will not allow ourselves to be distracted from what really matters – delivering quality education to all.
The university is truly afflicted over this mistake and deeply filled with remorse. It is our actions now and over the coming years that will compensate our inadequacies and make the difference.
Thank you for continuously believing in us and thank you for your understanding. Again, please accept our sincerest apologies.
