Unigames Swimming champions

The Ateneo de Manila University tankers lorded over the women’s division in the swimming competition of the Philippine University Games Sunday at the Lorenzo G. Teves Memorial Aquatic Center.

The AdeMU swimmers won15 gold medals, 8 silvers and 5 bronze medals.

They were followed by Silliman University which got 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals.

In third place was the Rizal Technological University which got 6 silver medals and 5 bronze medals.

But the RTU swimmers became champions in the men’s division winning 9 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 3 bronze medal.

They were followed by Ateneo de Manila University which got 6 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 6 bronze medals.

Placing third in men’s swimming was the University of Mindanao with 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, and 2 bronze medals. (Sherie Emate and Clark Amante III)
