In coordination with Profs. Angie Medalla and Pat Macalinao of the research department, lectures about mushrooms were conducted. The two gave insights to the CBET students so they could come up with various product ideas from mushrooms.
On the eve of the business day, a personality enrichment seminar was held in the Plenary Hall and followed by the Steno-typing skills competitions in the CBET laboratory rooms. BSOA Dept. Head Rose Diestro led her faculty members and the officers of the PASOA in the conduct of the said activities.
While most competitors came from the students of Marketing Research, the March 1 program was organized by the events management students and participated in by marketing, management and entrepreneurial students.
Dr. Amelita De Guzman , the RTU-VPRES was guest of honor during the ribbon-cutting ceremony. She was accompanied by the CBET Dean– Dr. Joergen Capuchino , CAS Prof Pat Macalinao , College Secretary– Prof. Cesar Guan , Prof. Leonila Crisostomo -Head of the Department of Marketing, Mr. Normandy Legaspi -Budget Officer and the hosts of the day - Profs. Ester Edralin and Carmelito Novicio.
